Who would you be if you had more money?

Empathy without authenticity is passivity, internalizing discomfort (overflowing at some point). Empathy is not putting yourself in someone else's shoes; that is impossible and even violent for those who try to do it. It is not passivity nor submission. It is not sympathy. It is embracing differences. Listening to understand, before wanting to solve. It is the willingness not to know. Of not having, and not even needing, answers. It is being together and embracing the authenticity of the other person.

Have you been exercising your authenticity and accepting that of others?

Authenticity without empathy is sincericide. Authenticity is bringing your opinion, without wanting to impose it as an absolute truth. Authenticity is saying "I don't know" and being able to ask questions. It is bringing honesty regarding your feelings and needs, without holding or blaming other people responsible for them. It is saying what is most important to you in that situation. Martin Luther King used to say that"our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter".

To exercise my authenticity is to honor my existence.

Does your money allow you to live your authenticity?

If asked how much money we need, we rarely look inward and do the math. We look at someone we take as an example and how much we would need to have THAT life.

We need to separate what is psychological from what is financial. Because if your basic needs are already met, the chances of more money making you happier are low.

Financial worries are not solved with more money. It has to do with what is happening in our minds, our souls.

The same mind that IMPRISONS us in addictions, psychological baggage, and comparisons, is the mind that wants money to be freer. If your financial worries prevent you from feeling free TODAY, more money will hardly solve this sustainably. It's only a matter of time before the cycle repeats.

How much money do we spend to fit into patterns, places, and relationships?

We lose ourselves.

If you have to squeeze to fit, it no longer makes sense. Get out.

Thank you very much and see you next week!
